They charge not by the vehicle, but by person. The greatest strike against Aggieland Safari, in case you haven’t already figured it out, is the cost. There is a playground area also and a food truck serving snacks. It was fun getting up close to the tortoises and watching them grab pieces of lettuce and slowly consume. There is a petting zoo and, once again, you can purchase food such as lettuce to feed the wildlife. The walk through part includes giraffes, reptiles, kangaroos, and more. The animals in this section are more interesting overall than the ones you see in the drive through part, and that is expected, since the more exotic animals cannot be permitted to get close to cars. Once you finish doing the drive- through, you are encouraged to park your car and do the walk- through part of the zoo.
